Background: Bhai और बहन दोनो MBA college के owner थे, college मे आग लग जाती है जिससे सारे docs & records जल जाते है। 

  • Story: MBA ka college = Business Continuity Management System
  • College ko banane mai Plan, Policies & Strategies लगी बहुत सारी 
  • भाई ने बहन को Risk Assessment की report दी (उसको लगा कि college मे आग लगने के chances है। )
  • और बोला कि हमे Disaster/Incident Management Plan बनाना चाहिए (ताकि अगर आग लगे भी तो उसे solve करने का प्लान हो )
  • भाई ने बोला कि कॉलेज मे Training program i.e Drill run करवानी पड़ेगी सभी बच्चो को aware कराने के लिए। 
  • भाई के According अगर ट्रेनिंग होगी तो उससे Change होगा control, prevent होगा disaster और अगर हो भी गया तो Correct होगा diasaster 
  • बहन नहीं मानी ट्रेनिंग के लिए 
  • और Incident होगया (आग लग गयी ) और सारी books जल गयी 
  • इसका Impact पड़ा college पे 
  • जिससे Tests का Schedule और Results सब Delay होगये।

Truck का Accident हुआ Overloading की वजह से जो कि याददा Profit कमाने के लिए की थी।

Accident = Impact & Consequences
Overload = Perceived Threats
Profit = Enterprise's objective

  • enterprise's objectives, stakeholder obligations, statutory duties and the environment in which the enterprise operates; 
  • activities, assets and resources, including those outside the enterprise, that support the delivery of these products and services; 
  • impact and consequences over time of the failure of these activities, assets and resources; and 
  • Perceived threats that could disrupt the enterprise's key products and services and the critical activities, assets and resources that support them. 



4.8.1 Business Impact Analysis (BIA)


Juice = BIA

Auditor JUICE पी के Cylinder Co. के Business पे Impact देखने गया। 


सबसे पहले उसने Impact देखा कि कितना Impact पड़ेगा फिर Critical Business Process identify किये मालिक बड़ा Lazy था उसने सीधाMax और Min नुकसान पूछा कितना Time लगेगा normal होने मे कोई और चीज़ Asset का तो नुकसान नई होगा ना। 

Module:
  • assess the impacts that would occur if the activity was disrupted over a period of time; 
  • Identify critical business processes;
  • identify the maximum time period after the start of a disruption within which the activity needs to be resumed; 
  • assess the minimum level at which the activity needs to be performed on its resumption; 
  • identify the length of time Within which normal levels of operation need to be resumed; and 
  • Identify any inter-dependent activities, assets, supporting infrastructure or resources that have also to be maintained continuously or recovered over time
